you that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have apprised

me that they have caused the sum of £6000 to be placed to Mr Baillie, the

Colonial Agent General, out of the Parliamentary Vote for the

expenses of the Establishment

of Hong Kong.

You will therefore

be guided accordingly in

drawing upon this Fund

on account of the service

of your Government.
